After graduating from CCNB community college in Edmundston, N.B. for 2006 carpentry, My first endeavor in this field, was residential framing and it was what brought me to Edmonton Alberta in 2007 during the residential construction boom.
Not long after I arrived in Edmonton, I was presented by Jim Slater, President of Town & Country Construction Ltd. an opportunity to work for myself as a sub-contractor which I could not resist. With his guidance and my work ethic, a friendship has been forged within the Slater family that still continues to this day. After leaving Town & Country Construction in 2011 to focus on Elite Decking ltd. , The Deck Store was erected by the Slater family and we have been working side by side ever since. With their guidance and my resourcefulness we have been unstoppable ever since.
